On August 28, 2024, at the Melia Hotel in Yangon, Myanmar, the Regional Biotrade Project concluded eight remarkable years of fostering biodiversity and sustainability across Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia. Participants from diverse backgrounds came together to celebrate achievements, share testimonials, and envision the future.
The event began with an engaging presentation of project outcomes and a heartwarming video showcasing eight years of impact. Testimonies from associations, farmers, and industry leaders highlighted the profound effects of Biotrade on livelihoods, ecosystems, and economies. Guests explored photovoice exhibits and Biotrade product displays, experiencing the tangible results firsthand.
The closing ceremony honored contributors with certificates, followed by a farewell lunch that marked the end of an inspiring chapter and the beginning of lasting legacies.
